Parachute Pants and Power Suits

You know when you look back and you think, "How did we think shoulder pads looked cool back then?". I do. We look back at what we thought was fashionable and cringe at how ridiculous we looked. I don't have to explain the concept. The point is, these shoes are headed in that direction. I know Nicole Richie and all those stars you gals look up to wear the stiletto heels with the platforms on the front to make you look super tall and skinny. But do you sort of see how they look like moon boots? And chunky as shit? And ridiculous.

That's because they are. Don't get me wrong, I'll wear them now and think I look smokin' hot. But I know that a time will come sooner than later where I can't believe how stupid I was that I thought that looked anything but goofy. And if you don't think those shoes look goofy as shit, I hate to say it, but you're too far gone.
